5. As you tour homes make a list of the approximate cost of any improvements you would need to make immediately, if any. These expenditures might affect your desire to purchase the home or the price you agree to pay.
6. Consider the location of the neighborhood to make sure it will meet you or your family’s needs regarding proximity to employment, schools, shopping and recreation.
7. Consider how the homes you have looked at compare to other homes in the neighborhood in terms of condition, size and price range. A home that is significantly more or less may be a harder re-sale in the future.
